From shaping the growth strategy and reaching new customers to understanding the effectiveness of our strategy’s implementation the Growth Lead will analyse effective growth performance which is critical to Kindaba’s success.

We’re hiring a Growth Lead to help us make the future of social possible. This is a role that depends on a broad set of skills and willingness to move swiftly from strategic thinking to data analysis, to funnel design, comfort in leading and owning a set of responsibilities, and a rigorous scientific mind that challenges assumptions and tests hypothesis. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (through Slack) experience creating and managing funnels for consumer digital products, and a background in product-based businesses. An engineering background, and deep experience with data analysis is a huge plus for this role.

The person in this role will work within our growth team, as well as with the design and product teams. We encourage cross team engagement and this person will have opportunities to participate in design sprints, and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Leading on strategy, development, and execution of our outward-focused growth funnels
  • Working with our growth and creative team to develop marketing strategies and evaluate effectiveness on a constant basis
  • Working with our Creative Director and CXO on growth-focused projects
  • Leading on data analysis of growth funnels

Requirements

  • Product experience is essential and you can demonstrate your experience of orchestrating funnels to maximise acquisition, activation, retention and referral
  • Experience delivering successful growth through consumer digital sales funnels
  • You have experience with a/b testing, including personally designing, implementing and evaluating experiments
  • You demonstrate confidence in using modern sales and marketing tools without external help
  • Your strength is data analysis, and understanding the importance of tracking, analysing, and actioning feedback based on data and are able to articulate the narrative that the data tells
  • You relish being able to get stuck in and personally deliver specific work rather than just being a ‘strategy’ person
